Keeping your personal information private and secure is important to the Western & English Sales Association (WESA).  We appreciate your visit and use of our website (Site*) and at all times understand that you are our guest and should be treated accordingly.

WESA recognizes that your personal information is important to you.  Please read this Privacy Policy (Policy*) carefully to understand what WESA does with personal information it collects. 

WESA’s Site is hosted in the USA.  WESA makes no representation that use of the Site is appropriate or available in locations outside of the USA.  If individuals access the Site from any location outside the USA with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from USA law, please be advised that through continued use of the Site, individuals have transferred any personal information and have therefore provided consent to that transfer of personal information.


“Personal Information” means that information that specifically identifies you as an individual, such as your full name, telephone numbers, email address, postal address, or certain account numbers and corresponding information.  WESA may request that you provide certain personal information on a voluntary basis in certain areas of the Site.  WESA may combine personal information that is provided through the Site with other information that we have received from you, whether online, or from other offline sources such as telephone, fax or email.  The Site may offer other communication opportunities such as email messages, newsletters or other communications from the Site in connection with one or more features or programs within the Site; we may ask for your contact information for those purposes.  You do not have to provide personal information with the understanding that your choice may limit your ability to use certain functions of the Site or to receive certain services or information from WESA.  Personal information submitted through the Site will be held in confidence.  Personal information will never be used, sold, rented or otherwise disclosed without your consent or except as set forth herein.   

WESA may use personal information for a number of purposes, such as: to respond to an email or particular request; to personalize the Site for your use; to process an application or Exhibitor Contract as requested by you; to administer surveys or provide pertinent information to an application or Exhibitor Contract; to provide information that WESA believes may be useful to you, such as information about products or services provided by us or by other businesses; to keep and provide a record of business or payment transactions; to protect WESA’s rights, the rights of its Members or of related third parties, or to take appropriate legal action.   WESA may use your email address to communicate with you about our services and your use of the Site.  We may contact you for marketing purposes by various means, including but not limited to regular mail, email or telephone.  

WESA may provide your personal information to its qualified Member/Exhibitors when such voluntary information has been collected through your registration through the Site for the purpose of attending a WESA Market.  WESA qualified Member/Exhibitors may contact you for marketing purposes by various means, including but not limited to regular mail, email, or telephone.  WESA will not sell, rent, transfer or disclose or otherwise permit the use of your personal information by advertisers or other third parties not affiliated with WESA, for direct marketing purposes.  


WESA uses various technologies, which may include “Cookie” technology, to gather non-personal information from Site visitors, including information such as which pages are used and how often they are used, and to enable certain features of the Site.

WESA may also collect other forms of non-personal information, such as what web browsers are used to access the Site and what websites are referring traffic or linking to the Site.  Aggregate and de-identified data regarding Site users is considered non-personal information.

WESA may use and disclose non-personal information unless restricted by this Policy or by law for, but not limited to, Site development, research and promotional purposes; developing reports regarding Site usage, activity and statistics; assisting users with the Site; enabling certain functions and tools on the Site. 


WESA may use your personal information for administration of the Site, for communications with you, and for operating interactive elements of the Site.  WESA may provide personal information and non-personal information to a third party vendor for the purposes of providing and maintaining services, performing services on our behalf or to assist WESA in maintaining and managing your information as a Site user, especially for and including the processing of credit card payments.  For example, WESA may hire a company to help send and manage email or to send you an email message on our behalf.  Third-party service providers may be necessary.  WESA requires that these vendors agree to use such information solely for this purpose, and reasonable efforts are used to limit their use of such information and to use other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

WESA may release personal information and non-personal information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state, federal and international laws or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant.

WESA reserves the right to disclose personal information and non-personal information that it believes, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce our agreements, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of it Site, and protect the rights, property, or personal safety of itself, it users, or others.


Portions of the Site permit you to submit personal information and to answer questions about yourself for purposes of compiling your Profile and participating in Site programs and features.  You may review some of this information and make corrections or updates at any time by following instructions within the Site. 


WESA is not responsible for the privacy policies of any other websites that are linked to and/or from the Site or any site that a user may use to access the Site.  WESA does not conduct investigations of linked websites or attempt to monitor them for content, quality or accuracy.  Inclusion of linked websites on the Site is strictly for the convenience of Site users and does not imply or express an approval or endorsement of the linked website. 

All users should consult the respective privacy policies associated with any and all websites for information on their practices and policies.  WESA’s Privacy Policy does not apply to, nor is WESA able to control the activities of, other such websites.


WESA has implemented reasonable physical security measures (such as locks), electronic security (such as passwords and encryption methods), and procedural security (such as rules regarding the handling and use of information), designed to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of your personal information and non-personal information that is in our possession.  Due to the nature of the Internet and online communications, however, WESA cannot guarantee that any information transmitted online will remain absolutely confidential, and WESA is not liable for the illegal acts of third parties, such as criminal hackers.

To protect your privacy, WESA asks you not to use email messages to communicate information to us that you consider sensitive or confidential.  When an email transmission is received by WESA, we will use reasonable efforts to maintain the security of such information within our internal data systems; your message may be archived in our records, or it may be deleted and discarded.  If you have any concerns about the security of confidential or secure information, email should not be used. 


WESA will not intentionally collect any personal information from those under the age of 13 through the Site.  If you think that WESA has collected such personal information through the Site, please contact us.


In the event that WESA is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, individuals using the Site agree that WESA may transfer or assign the information it has collected from those individuals as part of such merger, acquisition or other change of control.  In the very unlikely event of WESA bankruptcy, insolvency or reorganization, WESA may not be able to control how individual personal information is treated, transferred or used. 

Due to the quickly changing technologies for websites, WESA reserves the right to change or replace any policy or guideline on the Site, at any time, including this Privacy Policy or its Terms of Use.


All disputes related to privacy are subject to our policies, including this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.  This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado and the federal laws of the United States of America, (USA).  Any claim relating to this Privacy Policy shall be brought in a federal or state court in Denver, Colorado, within one year after the claim arises.  Users of the Site consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts as the most convenient and appropriate for the resolution of disputes concerning the Site and this Privacy Policy. 


By using the Site, users agree and consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree with any provision(s) of this Privacy Policy, do not disclose any personal information through the Site.
